"Am I dreaming, no i am living in my dream” BUT dreams should at least be realistic right?

Hi, I'm Ada

Who am I TODAY: REPs Certified Level 4 Specialist in Personal Training, a Level 4 Sports Nutrition and British Weightlifting Coach and an ICF Certified Life Coach.

I want to shout it on top of my lungs: losing weight and becoming fit isn’t just vanity. It is the one thing that may change your life forever. Perpetually the fat kid/ sister/ girlfriend, I wanted so much more for me, from life, but I felt denied, as though living the life of an overweight person (yes it is not just how you fit in those jeans) was my destiny. I felt it was both completely out of my control, and absolutely my fault. A toxic cycle that left me gutted every time I went on/ off a diet. Whether we like it or not, the world places a great value on how you look. So unless you decide to live in a shell, the rational thing to do is at least find a middle ground where you are yourself (if that self happened to be overweight) yet be accepted or even celebrated in the community you live in. Think of all the fun, adventure, relationships, and yes clothes, and joy you are denying yourself by being overweight. Do you know how many years of your life – compared to fit people – you waste looking for/ shopping/ crying in the fitting room/ brooding and wasting just to find clothes you are “not ashamed to wear”. And those vacations, do you pick a certain holiday destination because it’s the adventure of a lifetime, or because you know you are so limited by your body’s abilities? I am not Margaret thatcher, and i had enough of being plain “miserable”. I just wanted to breath, take all that weight off and with it the burden I have been carrying all my life. I am happy to report that I had that and so much more, i look back and think: Who was this young lady anyway? It wouldn’t be the announcement of the century to say that I have been in that roller coaster of off and on dieting for as long as I could remember. Creams, machines, pills, shakes …etc done them all, lost a lot of money, and a whole lot of weight. I got the weight back with interest, never the money. Until I met that one person that have changed my life forever. She got me, she got my body, she got the science, and she knew exactly what, how and where. It was a full on partnership! How did I, the fat kiddo become a personal trainer who helps others live their best life in their best body? I will give the hypothetical microphone to Coach Lana, and she will reveal the method she used to help me realize who I really was and look extra good while I’m at it Note: I am a lousy writer, edit credits go to Coach Lana, she is at the end a writer.
